The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cengizhan Tokdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esat Korcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osman Turgut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Esat Korcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cengizhan Tokdemir. GAP Gençlik SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esat Korcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Sultanbeyli booed when GAP Gençlik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşit Taşboğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, İlker Yenal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAP Gençlik SK and the Sultanbeyli players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, GAP Gençlik SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlker Yenal to maneuver through the defense. Sultanbeyli's Osman Turgut got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esat Korcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cengizhan Tokdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İlker Yenal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Metehan Zağanos having to make a save. Metehan Zağanos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İlker Yenal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Osman Turgut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murathan Günden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Metehan Zağanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GAP Gençlik SK's Cengizhan Tokdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Korcan in the 41st minute of play. Osman Turgut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerem Balaban kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, GAP Gençlik SK's Metehan Zağanos threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from İlker Yenal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İlker Yenal was the one to do the kick off. Göktürk Volkan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Tamer Darga made a precise shot to the right of Metehan Zağanos. Sultanbeyli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Reşit Taşboğa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Esat Korcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cengizhan Tokdemir came out and tried to block the shot, but Esat Korcan slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Turgut got free with Cengizhan Tokdemir in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Murathan Günden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Esat Korcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Tokdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murathan Günden in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Metehan Zağanos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Esat Korcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sultanbeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Esat Korcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengizhan Tokdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GAP Gençlik SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
