Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Talip Sahir took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, Aksaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refik Sadri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Aksaray's Refik Sadri got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Hadi Akçakan fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aksaray's protests and gave Hadi Akçakan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aksaray getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hadi Akçakan hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Aksaray's goalkeeper Ferdi İnanoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devlet Cebir. Devlet Cebirs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Ferdi İnanoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Talip Sahir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ferdi İnanoğlu, passed just outside the right post. Ferdi İnanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Sahir in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Talip Sahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdi İnanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayezit Tekalp hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Yiğit Can Akgül shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kutalp Kabataş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferdi İnanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talip Sahir in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Giresun booed when Aksaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Sadri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devlet Cebir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ferdi İnanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devlet Cebir was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 43 minutes, Arman Orcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giresun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Orcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdi İnanoğlu was a little too slow when Talip Sahir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şemsettin Hasanbeyli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Şemsettin Hasanbeyli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şemsettin Hasanbeyli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kutalp Kabataş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Talip Sahir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdi İnanoğlu. Aksaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Talip Sahir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Aksaray's Gencay Orak got a free kick in the 74th minute. Talip Sahir scored 3-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdi İnanoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 played minutes Aksaray got a freekick which was hit by Hadi Akçakan. 81 minutes into the match, Aksaray's goal looked a bit too open when Talip Sahir came free, but Ferdi İnanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Arman Orcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devlet Cebir in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdi İnanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 minutes, Serbülent Çeliksu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aksaray and the Giresun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aksaray's Serbülent Çeliksu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Devlet Cebir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ferdi İnanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
