Ofspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Devlet Cebir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 52nd match minute, Ofspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Demirman to maneuver through the defense. Ercüment Muren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Devlet Cebir took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercüment Muren. Ercüment Muren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ofspor's Ercüment Muren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ofspor from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devlet Cebir during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devlet Cebir hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ofspor's Ercüment Muren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ofspor from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Talip Sahir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giresun played a much better game than Ofspor and deserved their victory. The Ofspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
