Güral Emekli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphan Kaygun, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Acun Erben kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rahim Baray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şimşek Günden in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Alphan Kaygun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alphan Kaygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Emekli having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zonguldakspor FK defense, Alphan Kaygun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güral Emekli. The Zonguldakspor FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güral Emekli should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Mehmet Fatih Yaren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Zonguldakspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Necdet İkbal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alphan Kaygun in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güral Emekli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alphan Kaygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alphan Kaygun was the one to do the kick off. Zonguldakspor FK's Güral Emekli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zonguldakspor FK from getting a goal against them. Güral Emekli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphan Kaygun in the 56th minute of play. Mehmet Fatih Yaren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Güral Emekli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Güral Emekli made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mehmet Fatih Yaren sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Fatih Yaren might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güral Emekli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Fatih Yaren ran back to his position shaking his head. Zonguldakspor FK's Güral Emekli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphan Kaygun in the 75th minute of play. Abdullatif İğdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rahim Baray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Günden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Baray having to interfere. If Alphan Kaygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahim Baray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Günden, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Karaburun JK's Gaffar Özerdem got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Karaburun JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zonguldakspor FK throughout the match.
