The tension between the ömeranlı.SK and the Giresun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ömeranlı.SK's Baran Bilge Acun got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Humpe in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kutalp Kabataş saved Giresun from getting behind. Devlet Cebir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yunus Hendekli came out and tried to block the shot, but Devlet Cebir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. 34 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ömeranlı.SK's Kim Humpe fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Orhan Veli Savtur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, ömeranlı.SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Galip Sabuncuoğlu came free, but Yunus Hendekli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kim Humpe made the kick off in the second half. ömeranlı.SK's Aytekin Çetinoz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Okanalp Eker in the 51 minute of the game. Giresun's Kutalp Kabataş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Humpe in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Giresun booed when ömeranlı.SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Bilge Acun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yunus Hendekli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yunus Hendekli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlet Cebir, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 72nd minute Talip Sahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Hendekli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
