Güral Uraltay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikret Urza in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Ali Güralp Umurbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KIRIKKALE's Ataol Çağlar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Korhan Vefai was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, one of KIRIKKALE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Buğra Geylanoğullarından scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güral Uraltay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tayyip Ulubek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Çağlar having to interfere. With a little luck, KIRIKKALE's Ataol Çağlar got control of the ball when Tayyip Ulubek tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tayyip Ulubek, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ataol Çağlar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KIRIKKALE's zone, Ali Güralp Umurbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataol Çağlar came out of the goal and Ali Güralp Umurbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ataol Çağlar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Güralp Umurbey in the 34th minute of play. Güral Uraltay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tümer Başay went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ataol Çağlar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ali Güralp Umurbey sent off a good shot on target. Ali Güralp Umurbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Çağlar having to interfere. After the first half KIRIKKALE were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of KIRIKKALE booed when Cena Betis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Latif Kutsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Tayyip Ulubek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buğra Geylanoğullarından fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Uraltay having to interfere. KIRIKKALE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cena Betis the free kick. KIRIKKALE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Göktuğ Zade ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cena Betis's Göktuğ Zade to fire away a dangerous shot which Ataol Çağlar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tanju Mahçup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataol Çağlar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tayyip Ulubek's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
