Cizre FK's Mümtaz Mutluay got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Necdet Akça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtaz Mutluay in the 11th minute of play. Zafer Acabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Mümtaz Mutluay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necdet Akça. Mazgirt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mümtaz Mutluay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abdulhamit Tamkoç kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mümtaz Mutluay might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Necdet Akça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mümtaz Mutluay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24thth minute of the game Zafer Acabey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazgirt's Necdet Akça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Necdet Akça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümtaz Mutluay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Necdet Akça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Acabey in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Mümtaz Mutluay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cizre FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mümtaz Mutluay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anıl Ege Uğursoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Zafer Acabey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necdet Akça was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halil Uğursal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Necdet Akça made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mümtaz Mutluay sent off a good shot on target. Necdet Akça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mümtaz Mutluay went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Zafer Acabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Necdet Akça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazgirt's Necdet Akça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Acabey in the 89th minute of play. When Gafur Sönmezalp fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cizre FK's protests and gave Gafur Sönmezalp a yellow card for diving instead. Cizre FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
