Vahap İğdemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedirhan Çakman in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Düzici's Ceyhun Yücealp got a free kick in the 7th minute. Güral İltemir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şenol Kırman came out and tried to block the shot, but Güral İltemir slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. Necmettin Kaygun took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şenol Kırman. Şenol Kırman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güral İltemir got free with Şenol Kırman in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Tosya's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Asım Hanedan came free, but Şenol Kırman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şenol Kırman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Asım Hanedan in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Tosya's Şenol Kırman got control of the ball when Atıf Ünalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arif Çelebi Özdoğal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Çelebi Özdoğal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Tosya got a freekick which was hit by Alper Kayaer. Şenol Kırman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zülfikar Bektaş. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Şenol Kırman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Tosya's Ahmet Asım Öztürk got a free kick in the 45th minute. Necmettin Kaygun took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şenol Kırman. Şenol Kırman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Asım Hanedan made a kick off. Hüseyin Rahmi Kutlualp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Vahap İğdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceyhun Yücealp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şenol Kırman. Tosya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Düzici's zone, Ali Cengiz Başbuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahap İğdemir came out of the goal and Ali Cengiz Başbuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Düzici's goalkeeper Vahap İğdemir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Düzici getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kaan Özertan hit a great ball. A collision led to Tosya getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ceyhun Yücealp didn't quite understand what happened when in the 86 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Şenol Kırman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Asım Hanedan in the 88th minute of play. Bedirhan Çakman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap İğdemir having to interfere. Tansu Yazgan came free in the 93rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Vahap İğdemir, but to the joy of Düzici's supporters the ball went over. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Düzici fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tosya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
