Aybek Deren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Ali Satıbey in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Yağmurlu FC got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Ayık. In the 8th minute Hacı Ali Satıbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybek Deren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EreğliSpor's zone, Hazar Şah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktan Delioğlu came out of the goal and Hazar Şah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Polat Ekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gökmen İzci kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aybek Deren. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Aybek Deren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hacı Ali Satıbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, EreğliSpor's Hamit Eldem got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökberk Ihlamur in the 27th minute of play forced EreğliSpor's goalkeeper Göktan Delioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göktan Delioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Ayık in the 29th minute of the match. If Polat Ekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Gökalp Umurbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Göktan Delioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yağmurlu FC reached it. In the 38th minute, Polat Ekin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göktan Delioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Polat Ekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EreğliSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yağmurlu FC the free kick. Ahmet Hisarcık kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Hazar Şah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Polat Ekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Göktan Delioğlu made a huge save. After some careless play in the Yağmurlu FC defense, Hacı Ali Satıbey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aybek Deren. The Yağmurlu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aybek Deren should have stopped the shot. Aybek Deren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hacı Ali Satıbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Müfit Ayık hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Hazar Şah in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Göktan Delioğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Polat Ekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Göktan Delioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EreğliSpor's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, EreğliSpor's goalkeeper Göktan Delioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Polat Ekin. 77 minutes into the match, Ahmet Hisarcık notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Yağmurlu FC's Aybek Deren. Aybek Deren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aybek Deren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökmen İzci in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gökalp Umurbey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Göktan Delioğlu, 3-2. After a rather tough play, EreğliSpor's Ahmet Hisarcık got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, EreğliSpor's Göktan Delioğlu got control of the ball when Polat Ekin tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yağmurlu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EreğliSpor.
