The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dilaver İrem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burhan Canbulat having to interfere. A collision led to Akcakoca getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sümer Derdiyok hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Simav SK's zone, Hakkı Devrim Karasu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duman Tokgöz came out of the goal and Hakkı Devrim Karasu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Metehan Baliç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burhan Canbulat having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Hakkı Devrim Karasu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 24 minutes into the match, Akcakoca's goal looked a bit too open when Metehan Baliç came free, but Burhan Canbulat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ozan Sertaçgil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sümer Derdiyok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakkı Devrim Karasu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Feyzullay Kartay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sümer Derdiyok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Aydemir İksir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akcakoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydemir İksir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feyzullay Kartay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simav SK's Duman Tokgöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Devrim Karasu in the 60th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Buğrahan Öktemer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akcakoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
