After 17 minutes, Baran Bucak made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yomra's Duran Aktekin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Suat Ahmetoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duran Aktekin was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suat Ahmetoğlu in the 24th minute of play forced Yomra's goalkeeper Duran Aktekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Birkan Oğuzcan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Yomra fans jumped to their feet. In the 63rd minute Baran Bucak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duran Aktekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Birkan Oğuzcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Ahmetoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Duran Aktekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Baki Çakıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Ahmetoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duran Aktekin having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
