Mehmet Emre Öztaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Cankut Resul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özmen İrfan was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Yolcu Spor's Baykam Sarıdoğan got a free kick in the 12th minute. Kütahya's Abdi Mehmet İlke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. Aytuğ Tekay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Seçkin Hidayettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cankut Resul took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özmen İrfan. Özmen İrfan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Seçkin Hidayettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemalettin İkram in the 26th minute of play. Mehmet Emre Öztaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Yolcu Spor's Seçkin Hidayettin got control of the ball when Kılıçhan Tokuzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Cemalettin İkram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seçkin Hidayettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seçkin Hidayettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemalettin İkram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seçkin Hidayettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cemalettin İkram, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Aytuğ Tekay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Emre Öztaş was the one to do the kick off. Cankut Resul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özmen İrfan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Emre Öztaş in the 65th minute of play forced Kütahya's goalkeeper Özmen İrfan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Yücel Sağınç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yolcu Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kütahya the free kick. In the 70th minute, Yücel Sağınç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Yolcu Spor booed when Kütahya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Mehmet İlke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yolcu Spor's Mehmet Emre Öztaş got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emre Öztaş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özmen İrfan. Mehmet Emre Öztaş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Cankut Resul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cankut Resul succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 94th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Yolcu Spor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kütahya.
