Ogün Özyay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilgaz Derdiyok's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Muzaffer Taki struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. İsmail Orhun Seyfi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Beyoğlu. Ahmet Orhan Temizel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Muzaffer Taki came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Real Beyoğlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muzaffer Taki couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Orhan Temizel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Orhun Seyfi having to interfere. Ogün Özyay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recai Baltacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İsmail Orhun Seyfi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yağızalp Haseki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Ahmet Orhan Temizel might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsmail Orhun Seyfi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 56th minute, Ahmet Orhan Temizel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Muzaffer Taki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ahmet Orhan Temizel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Real Beyoğlu fans jumped to their feet. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İsmail Orhun Seyfi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Beyoğlu's Doğuş Hanbeyi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Orhan Temizel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. İsmail Orhun Seyfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Beyoğlu were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
