The supporters of Yılo26 booed when Catalca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azim Ünsevin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Yılo26 got a freekick which was hit by Pekin Çoğan. Aktaç Razi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atıf Balıkçı. Yılo26's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rahim Taycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Catalca FK's Ahmet Bülent Kaşif slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atıf Balıkçı. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. 46 minutes into the match, Rahim Taycan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atıf Balıkçı. Yılo26's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rahim Taycan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Bülent Kaşif to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Yılo26's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Kaşif came free, but Atıf Balıkçı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Baskın Tara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rahim Taycan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalca FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rahim Taycan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atıf Balıkçı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Çağdaş Kutlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahim Taycan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atıf Balıkçı having to make a save.
