Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ElazığSpor's Aşkın Geylan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Göktan Sualp. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aşkın Geylan in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Kağan İpekçi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Kahraman Okatan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ElazığSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaglidere the free kick. In the 16th minute, Kahraman Okatan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Bedirhan Bozdağ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Müfit Arslanşah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaglidere and the ElazığSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Müfit Arslanşah hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaglidere's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferman Batır was slow to take the kick. During this time ElazığSpor's players had a chance to rest. If Ahmet Özaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Aşkın Geylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Kağan İpekçi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşkın Geylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Özaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Özaltan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 47th minute, Ahmet Kağan Hallaçoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Genco Totuk. ElazığSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute of the match Ferman Batır sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Kağan İpekçi skillfully saved the ball. Kahraman Okatan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 played minutes ElazığSpor got a freekick which was hit by Namık Masum. Genco Totuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Hallaçoğlu in the 73rd minute of play. If Ahmet Özaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aral Utkan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Özaltan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Özaltan in the 79th minute of the match. Aşkın Geylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aşkın Geylan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Kağan İpekçi having to make a save. Aşkın Geylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Özaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kağan İpekçi having to interfere. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşkın Geylan in the 90th minute of play. Yaglidere's Ahmet Kağan İpekçi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşkın Geylan in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Yaglidere got a freekick which was hit by Aral Utkan. 96 minutes into the match, Aşkın Geylan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Yaglidere's Ahmet Kağan İpekçi. Ahmet Kağan İpekçi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the ElazığSpor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
