After 23 played minutes, Alucra JK's Doğuhan Ecemiş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şadi Canıtez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Kerimhan Buğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şadi Canıtez having to interfere. If Savaş Önateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekber Böke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savaş Önateş in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play Edirnekapi's Muhsin Sait was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Edirnekapi's Muhsin Sait got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turgut Mertkal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
