Mücahit Cesur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Özaltan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Genco Totuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tümer Yalkı in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Ahmet Özaltan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mücahit Cesur, 1-0. Ahmet Özaltan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mücahit Cesur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Tümer Yalkı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Genco Totuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mücahit Cesur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Özaltan in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Ahmet Özaltan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mücahit Cesur. The goal made the score 2-1. Genco Totuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tümer Yalkı in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of ElazığSpor booed when Kurucasile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahman Muhittin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kurucasile's Rahman Muhittin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Enis Temizhan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Özaltan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mücahit Cesur. That made the score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. Mücahit Cesur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Özaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tümer Yalkı to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Kurucasile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ElazığSpor:s goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurucasile's goalkeeper Mücahit Cesur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tümer Yalkı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Totuk having to interfere. Enis Temizhan hit a great ball. Mücahit Cesur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Özaltan in the 64th minute of play. If Tümer Yalkı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferman Batır kicked well hit freekick during the 101st minute of the match. Tümer Yalkı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Genco Totuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ElazığSpor fully deserved thier win.
