Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kahraman Doğanten got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Kahraman Doğanten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edirnekapi's Şadi Canıtez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şadi Canıtez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aybar Akburçak went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, TheLastOttoman's Feridun Taceddin got control of the ball when Turgut Mertkal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şadi Canıtez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybar Akburçak in the 24th minute of play. Turgut Mertkal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Feridun Taceddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kandemir Türkmen during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Edirnekapi booed when TheLastOttoman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Türkmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Savaş Önateş dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feridun Taceddin, 1-1. Savaş Önateş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kandemir Türkmen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Savaş Önateş received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feridun Taceddin came out and tried to block the shot, but Savaş Önateş slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute. Feridun Taceddin was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Savaş Önateş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Savaş Önateş really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Savaş Önateş made a kick off. Kahraman Doğanten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Şadi Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aybar Akburçak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Edirnekapi's goal looked a bit too open when Kahraman Doğanten came free, but Şadi Canıtez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Mertkal in the 66th minute of play forced TheLastOttoman's goalkeeper Feridun Taceddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Ege Behzat's late challenge caught a Edirnekapi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Behzat helped the player get up and apologised. When Turgut Mertkal came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Edirnekapi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Mertkal couldn't finish the play. Feridun Taceddin came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Edirnekapi's Savaş Önateş. But to his dismay, Savaş Önateş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, TheLastOttoman's Kandemir Türkmen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Edirnekapi's Doğuhan Bayraktaroğlu suffered a concussion in the 75th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Ahmet Ege Behzat was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th match minute, TheLastOttoman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ege Behzat to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, Edirnekapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüknettin Hacıağa to maneuver through the defense. If Aybar Akburçak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Edirnekapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Sait to maneuver through the defense. Feridun Taceddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savaş Önateş, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Aybar Akburçak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feridun Taceddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Mertkal in the 99th minute of play. TheLastOttoman's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
