Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beyhan Ruhi started the match with the kick off. Ahmet Ömür Yörükoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Ali Uzkan having to interfere. Hasan Ali Uzkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azmi Sungurtekin in the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeskunMahall's goalkeeper Ayhan Başeskioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Galatasaray's Beyhan Ruhi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Murathan Tapgaç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Murathan Tapgaç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Başeskioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Azmi Sungurtekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasan Ali Uzkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galatasaray's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doğan Bakırhan was slow to take the kick. During this time MeskunMahall's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Doğan Bakırhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hasan Ali Uzkan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Doğan Bakırhan's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Hasan Ali Uzkan - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ahmet Ömür Yörükoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeskunMahall's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Ömür Yörükoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasan Ali Uzkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Yahya Taravet's late challenge caught a MeskunMahall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Yahya Taravet helped the player get up and apologised. Hasan Ali Uzkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azmi Sungurtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Kutlay Önen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the MeskunMahall players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Kutlay Önen. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeskunMahall's goalkeeper Ayhan Başeskioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MeskunMahall's Ayhan Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beyhan Ruhi in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes, Galatasaray's Seyit İzgi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ayhan Başeskioğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galatasaray reached it. Galatasaray's Hasan Ali Uzkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azmi Sungurtekin in the 61st minute of play. Hasan Ali Uzkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azmi Sungurtekin in the 63rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Murathan Tapgaç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ayhan Başeskioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when MeskunMahall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feridun İzgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Ömür Yörükoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Hasan Ali Uzkan made a huge save. Yıldıray Barkın took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ayhan Başeskioğlu. MeskunMahall's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Azmi Sungurtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağatay Ankaralı to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Beyhan Ruhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayhan Başeskioğlu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Murathan Tapgaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galatasaray were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MeskunMahall for a fine match.
