Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duran Mertoğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Battal Timurkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Ensar Okman in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Duran Mertoğlu rounded Sincanli SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 7th minute, Ramazan Veysel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Tayyip Baytüzün in the 8th minute really tested Battal Timurkan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 12th match minute, Sincanli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramazan Veysel to maneuver through the defense. Arif Oğuz Eker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Timurkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duran Mertoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. Arif Ensar Okman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Battal Timurkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coşkun Mülayim charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Coşkun Mülayim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Sincanli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun Mülayim to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sincanli SK's zone, Duran Mertoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Timurkan came out of the goal and Duran Mertoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sögüt JK defense, Hazım Berkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Oğuz Eker. The Sögüt JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Oğuz Eker should have stopped the shot. Sincanli SK's Battal Timurkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Mertoğlu in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayyip Baytüzün during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sögüt JK's Tayyip Baytüzün got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bilge Kağan Şinasi's late challenge caught a Sincanli SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bilge Kağan Şinasi helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hazım Berkman was the one to do the kick off. If Hazım Berkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sincanli SK's Hazım Berkman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Oğuz Eker. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. Hazım Berkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arif Oğuz Eker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Duran Mertoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Timurkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duran Mertoğlu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Battal Timurkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sincanli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Oğuz Eker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 played minutes Sincanli SK got a freekick which was hit by Hami Asıf. Battal Timurkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Mertoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Timurkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Mertoğlu in the 90th minute of play. Duran Mertoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Timurkan having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sincanli SK's Arif Oğuz Eker threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hazım Berkman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Sincanli SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sincanli SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
