In the 3rd match minute, Fatih was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emrullah Öztaş to maneuver through the defense. Reşit Balaman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The long shot by Kayhan Canpolat in the 16th minute really tested Hafız Öktemer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Fatih's Abdi Saygın Tüzüner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atalay Kahya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atalay Kahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Saygın Tüzüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Buğra Serkan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hafız Öktemer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hafız Öktemer made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Arif Egemen Keyfer sent off a good shot on target. Arif Buğra Serkan came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hafız Öktemer could save by the left post. A collision led to Fatih getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abdi Saygın Tüzüner hit a great ball. Atalay Kahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Saygın Tüzüner in the 34th minute of the match. If Oktay Taykut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hafız Öktemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Affan Hallaçoğlu in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Arif Buğra Serkan could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Hafız Öktemer however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Arif Buğra Serkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hafız Öktemer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Egemen Keyfer was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Abdi Saygın Tüzüner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fatih's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Saygın Tüzüner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hafız Öktemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Buğra Serkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Kayhan Canpolat suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reşit Balaman during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Fatih got a freekick which was hit by Reşit Balaman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Egemen Keyfer in the 66th minute of play forced Fatih's goalkeeper Hafız Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emrullah Öztaş charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emrullah Öztaş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Mustafa İzzet Perviz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arif Buğra Serkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Egemen Keyfer took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hafız Öktemer. Hafız Öktemer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Harbiye SK's Atalay Kahya got control of the ball when Oktay Taykut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tolga Elhan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Reşit Balaman hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Harbiye SK were the better team. Harbiye SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
