Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yağızalp Akdoğu made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Harbiye SK defense, Tanju Gezer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atalay Kahya. The Harbiye SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atalay Kahya should have stopped the shot. When Arif Egemen Keyfer came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Harbiye SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Egemen Keyfer couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kayhan Canpolat got free with Demiralp Polathan in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atalay Kahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızalp Akdoğu in the 10th minute of the match. Harbiye SK's Affan Hallaçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Harbiye SK's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızalp Akdoğu came free, but Atalay Kahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Arif Buğra Serkan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demiralp Polathan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Egemen Keyfer in the 22nd minute of play forced Ankaragücü's goalkeeper Demiralp Polathan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Kayhan Canpolat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Tayfur in the 27th minute of play forced Harbiye SK's goalkeeper Atalay Kahya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Buğra Serkan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Demiralp Polathan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ankaragücü's zone, Arif Egemen Keyfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demiralp Polathan came out of the goal and Arif Egemen Keyfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atalay Kahya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiğit Tayfur, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Tayfur in the 34th minute of play forced Harbiye SK's goalkeeper Atalay Kahya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Yağızalp Akdoğu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atalay Kahya. Harbiye SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yağızalp Akdoğu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Münir Dolunay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. 38 minutes into the game, one of Harbiye SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ankaragücü a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tanju Gezer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Harbiye SK's Atalay Kahya. 0-3. Atalay Kahya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yiğit Tayfur went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Arif Buğra Serkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Harbiye SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ankaragücü were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Arif Buğra Serkan made the kick off in the second half. Kayhan Canpolat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Demiralp Polathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atalay Kahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Akdoğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yağızalp Akdoğu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Seyfullah Tüzel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankaragücü and the Harbiye SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Ankaragücü got a freekick which was hit by Seyfullah Tüzel. If Seyfullah Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yiğit Tayfur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atalay Kahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Akdoğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Yağızalp Akdoğu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atalay Kahya. Yağızalp Akdoğu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 90 minutes, Ecevit Sureha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankaragücü and the Harbiye SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Harbiye SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Egemen Keyfer. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ankaragücü walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
