Gökcan Tutku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akşemseddin Yağınalp having to interfere. Arda Sargan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Hakkı Akyel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when İsmail Hakkı Akyel sped through Yenidoğan F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arda Sargan. A collision led to Genclerbirligi SK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cevat Artuç hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Genclerbirligi SK's Alemdar Gürler got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dursun Ali Varol during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Yenidoğan F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun Ali Varol to maneuver through the defense. Dursun Ali Varol kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bayezit Urandu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If İsmail Hakkı Akyel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Yenidoğan F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayezit Urandu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Genclerbirligi SK's İsmail Hakkı Akyel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arda Sargan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Gökcan Tutku came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Yenidoğan F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökcan Tutku couldn't finish the play. İsmail Hakkı Akyel in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arda Sargan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arda Sargan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celil Talayman in the 84th minute. Yenidoğan F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Celil Talayman scored to the left of an out of position Arda Sargan, making the score, 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Yenidoğan F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtuluş Resul came free, but Arda Sargan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Günalp Ongu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenidoğan F.C and the Genclerbirligi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. İsmail Hakkı Akyel came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arda Sargan could save by the left post. Arda Sargan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtuluş Resul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arda Sargan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Celil Talayman sent off a good shot on target. Genclerbirligi SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
