In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ersisspor's goalkeeper Kuddusî Usalan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tuncer Kulan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Caner Horasanlı's late challenge caught a Caldiran JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caner Horasanlı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Caner Horasanlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Dündar Adalıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Kurtuluş in the 13th minute of play forced Ersisspor's goalkeeper Kuddusî Usalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bilge Kağan Güleryüz in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Muhsin Hirfanlı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilge Kağan Güleryüz in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Göktuğ Kurtuluş to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Ahmet Göktuğ Kurtuluş rounded Ersisspor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. A collision led to Ersisspor getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Saruhan Özgebay hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ersisspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! If Ahmet Göktuğ Kurtuluş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuddusî Usalan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dündar Adalıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Kuddusî Usalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Kurtuluş in the 97th minute of play. The Ersisspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caldiran JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
