After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Baha Afşaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BarakSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Baha Afşaroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fikri Özyay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AĞRI SSK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Baha Afşaroğlu scored to the left of an out of position Fikri Özyay, making the score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Celil Saver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AĞRI SSK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BarakSpor the free kick. After a rather tough play, AĞRI SSK's Celil Saver got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mehmet Şefik Yağın succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. Mehmet Şefik Yağın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Fikri Özyay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 29 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Yağın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BarakSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Şefik Yağın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paşa Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suat Kartekin in the 32nd minute of play. Seçkin Huzur hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, AĞRI SSK's Akif Heybetli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paşa Günden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. AĞRI SSK's Suat Kartekin got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Suat Kartekin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paşa Günden. Paşa Günden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. BarakSpor's Paşa Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Egemen Bartu in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Suat Kartekin made a kick off. Fikri Özyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Şefik Yağın in the 51st minute of the match. Semavi Gerdaneri charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Semavi Gerdaneri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BarakSpor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. AĞRI SSK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 58th minute Mehmet Şefik Yağın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fikri Özyay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suat Kartekin couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
