When Barbaros Omural fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kursunlu's protests and gave Barbaros Omural a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Mustafa Arif Ülmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kursunlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Arif Ülmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baran Alp Bedük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Thracia United's zone, Hamit Göçer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Baybars Cemre came out of the goal and Hamit Göçer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Hamit Göçer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kursunlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamit Göçer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hamit Göçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Başar Özakıncı came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Thracia United's Baran Alp Bedük. But to his dismay, Baran Alp Bedük quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hamit Göçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arda Baybars Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kursunlu's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Thracia United had won, even though Kursunlu had held more of the ball.
