Başar Özakıncı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Alp Bedük, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arda Baybars Cemre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamit Göçer in the 5th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Münir Gençyaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Başar Özakıncı. Kursunlu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Münir Gençyaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thracia United's İhsan Özel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kursunlu's Alpay Necmi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Baran Alp Bedük made a precise shot to the right of Başar Özakıncı. Kursunlu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Thracia United's goal looked a bit too open when Hamit Göçer came free, but Arda Baybars Cemre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thracia United's zone, Barbaros Omural stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Baybars Cemre came out of the goal and Barbaros Omural tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamit Göçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arda Baybars Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Mustafa Arif Ülmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Kursunlu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thracia United were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Münir Gençyaz was the one to do the kick off. İhsan Özel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Başar Özakıncı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Münir Gençyaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Başar Özakıncı, 0-3. After 69 played minutes Kursunlu got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Ülmen. After a defensive mix-up in Thracia United's zone, Peker Ataoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Baybars Cemre came out of the goal and Peker Ataoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Hamit Göçer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Thracia United's Münir Gençyaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Başar Özakıncı made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Baran Alp Bedük sent off a good shot on target. Hamit Göçer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hamit Göçer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kursunlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamit Göçer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Baybars Cemre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamit Göçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Baybars Cemre having to interfere. Chants of Thracia United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kursunlu had held the ball for most of the match.
