Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hafız Ersunal started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Aydin's Haydar Başok got a free kick in the 5th minute. Anıl Ege Makbul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mürsel Hicabi in the 10th minute of the match. Atıf Öztaylan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atıf Öztaylan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Aydin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atıf Öztaylan to maneuver through the defense. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Fethi Karakaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fethi Karakaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu in the 19th minute of play. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Hafız Ersunal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ege Makbul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Karakaya having to interfere. Fethi Karakaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Devrim Yorgun in the 26th minute of play. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fethi Karakaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aydin's Fethi Karakaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Aydin from getting a goal against them. Fethi Karakaya was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Anıl Cenk Tarkan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anıl Cenk Tarkan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Akomspor booed when Aydin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beşir Özerol didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anıl Cenk Tarkan came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Akomspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Cenk Tarkan couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Aydin's zone, Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fethi Karakaya came out of the goal and Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
