The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Tayfun in the 5th minute of play forced Ayvalıkgücü's goalkeeper Ömer Geylanlar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Kağan Seyhun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gencay Tansu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Tayfun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Geylanlar having to interfere. Ömer Geylanlar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürkan Ersal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Gürkan Ersal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ayvalıkgücü's Ömer Geylanlar. Ömer Geylanlar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Halit Tayfun struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ömer Geylanlar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sefaköy JK. If Kaan Algın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencay Tansu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Algın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Ayvalıkgücü's Ali Kağan Seyhun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Yılmaz Erbatur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayvalıkgücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sefaköy JK the free kick. Yılmaz Erbatur hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sefaköy JK's Selman Yurdaşen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ayvalıkgücü. Gürkan Ersal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürkan Ersal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Geylanlar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sefaköy JK defense, Ali Kağan Seyhun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencay Tansu. The Sefaköy JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencay Tansu should have stopped the shot. Ayvalıkgücü's Ömer Geylanlar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Yaslı in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaan Algın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sefaköy JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Algın came free, but Gencay Tansu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Ali Kağan Seyhun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayvalıkgücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kağan Seyhun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halit Tayfun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ali Kağan Seyhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Kaan Algın notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sefaköy JK's Gencay Tansu. Gencay Tansu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ali Kağan Seyhun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvalıkgücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Kağan Seyhun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencay Tansu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gencay Tansu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Algın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Lemi Neba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sefaköy JK and the Ayvalıkgücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Ayvalıkgücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaan Algın to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Tansu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kağan Seyhun in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Emin Ersevim during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Mehmet Emin Ersevim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gencay Tansu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Kağan Seyhun went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ayvalıkgücü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
