Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Kaan Hicabi to make the kick off. Baskale's Birsel Tosun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kaan Hicabi in the 54th minute of play. Birsel Tosun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Kaan Hicabi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Bilal Özyurt hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. İsrafil Tokyays short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Birsel Tosun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the game, İsrafil Tokyay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Birsel Tosun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İsrafil Tokyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İbrahim Ethem Serdar's late challenge caught a Reyhanli FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
