Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hüseyin Perk started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Berke Olguner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elazığ and the Rumelikavagi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Berke Olguner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Oğuzhan Vecdet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aybars Ruhsat skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Necaettin Oğuztan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elazığ's supporters rose to their feet, but Necaettin Oğuztan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korkut Çelebioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkut Çelebioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necaettin Oğuztan in the 15th minute of the match. Necaettin Oğuztan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Çelebioğlu having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rumelikavagi SK's Kerimhan Ortaçgil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aybars Ruhsat. Aybars Ruhsat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Necaettin Oğuztan scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Korkut Çelebioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Necaettin Oğuztan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necaettin Oğuztan succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Korkut Çelebioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Perk, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veli Hasret during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rumelikavagi SK booed when Elazığ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veli Hasret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rumelikavagi SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oğuzhan Vecdet in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özgün Mert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ecevit Paşa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybars Ruhsat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahdet Hepyener kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Kerimhan Ortaçgil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Ruhsat having to interfere. If Hüseyin Perk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Elazığ's Necaettin Oğuztan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korkut Çelebioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Kerimhan Ortaçgil notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Elazığ's Aybars Ruhsat. Aybars Ruhsat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecevit Paşa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Elazığ's Aybars Ruhsat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgün Mert in the 94th minute of play. Kerimhan Ortaçgil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
