After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Özgün Mert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumelikavagi SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Mert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferman Müşfik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Mert in the 19th minute of play forced Refahiye SK's goalkeeper Ferman Müşfik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özgün Mert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferman Müşfik having to make a save. In the 26th minute Edip Bilgen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korkut Çelebioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Arda Çakmur struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Korkut Çelebioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Refahiye SK. In the 28th match minute, Rumelikavagi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Akdoğan to maneuver through the defense. Kerimhan Ortaçgil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Müşfik having to interfere. When Refahiye SK's Edip Bilgen in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Korkut Çelebioğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özgün Mert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Semavi Yengi during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Semavi Yengi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Anıl Arda Çakmur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Çelebioğlu having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edip Bilgen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kerimhan Ortaçgil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferman Müşfik was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Korkut Çelebioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edip Bilgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferman Müşfik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferman Müşfik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özgün Mert's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Özgün Mert put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ferman Müşfik. Korkut Çelebioğlu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Anıl Arda Çakmur sent off a good shot on target. Anıl Arda Çakmur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korkut Çelebioğlu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Mert in the 88th minute of play forced Refahiye SK's goalkeeper Ferman Müşfik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anıl Arda Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Özgün Mert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rumelikavagi SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Refahiye SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Refahiye SK.
