When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Azmi Öktuna put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mustafa Haydar Kuntay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azmi Öktuna in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Haydar Kuntay saved Afjet Afyonspor from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Mustafa Ali Şakir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Körfez JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Afjet Afyonspor throughout the match.
