Galip Taşdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Cihangir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Remzi Özakay came free, but Burhan Çelik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behzat Cantez charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behzat Cantez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Behzat Cantez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Remzi Özakay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cihangir SK's Burhan Çelik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remzi Özakay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Burhan Çelik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burhan Çelik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Alatay in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Ömer Alatay made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cihangir SK's Burhan Çelik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Remzi Özakay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurtalan's supporters rose to their feet, but Remzi Özakay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burhan Çelik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ömer Alatay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Burhan Çelik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Özakay in the 20th minute of play forced Cihangir SK's goalkeeper Burhan Çelik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertaç Sağbilge hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ömer Alatay scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burhan Çelik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Kurtalan got a freekick which was hit by Zülfikar Turhan. Burhan Çelik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remzi Özakay, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Galip Taşdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Kurtalan got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Adahan. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Galip Taşdan to strike the kick off in the second half. Kuddusî Orcaner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Altınpınar having to interfere. Kuddusî Orcaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kurtalan's Ömer Alatay got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Özakay in the 66th minute of play forced Cihangir SK's goalkeeper Burhan Çelik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ömer Alatay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-2 became the score in the 80th minute when Galip Taşdan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Cihangir SK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kadir Şenaltan hit a great ball. Burhan Çelik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer Alatay in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Kuddusî Orcaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Boran Altınpınar. Kurtalan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuddusî Orcaner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ömer Alatay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ömer Alatay struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Burhan Çelik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtalan. Cihangir SK's Burhan Çelik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Cihangir SK from getting a goal against them. Kurtalan's Zülfikar Turhan suffered a concussion after 96 minutes and had to leave the field. Kadir Şenaltan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
