The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boğaç Şemsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gencalp Özalpman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selman Günden having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Boğaç Şemsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selman Günden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Boğaç Şemsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güneş FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Boğaç Şemsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selman Günden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Hakkı Dalga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFS United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Güneş FK the free kick. In the 14th minute, Hakkı Dalga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selman Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencalp Özalpman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Boğaç Şemsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güneş FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boğaç Şemsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selman Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Özalpman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selman Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boğaç Şemsi in the 26th minute of play. Selman Günden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gencalp Özalpman's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. NFS United's Selman Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencalp Özalpman in the 29th minute of play. Efe İmran charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efe İmran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Güneş FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efe İmran to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Kadri Binalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Yaşar Tunç kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, Ataol Köken did a trick in the 49th minute in front of NFS United's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boğaç Şemsi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Güneş FK's Efe İmran got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Ahmet Kadri Binalp, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Varol Atabek was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Güneş FK's Cevat Ağaverdi got a free kick in the 60th minute. Selman Günden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gencalp Özalpman in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Güneş FK's Boğaç Şemsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 72nd minute, Gencalp Özalpman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güneş FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Boğaç Şemsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gencalp Özalpman came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Güneş FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencalp Özalpman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, NFS United's Deniz Kutel got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Güneş FK's Gencalp Özalpman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selman Günden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gökçen Sait charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökçen Sait the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Gencalp Özalpman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Boğaç Şemsi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Güneş FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
