Ataol Cerit started the match with the kick off. If Gencalp Özalpman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Boğaç Şemsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güneş FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Varol Atabek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ataol Cerit's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Doğan Bayram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Kulilk's goal looked a bit too open when Cevat Ağaverdi came free, but Acar Koçarslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acar Koçarslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boğaç Şemsi in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Boğaç Şemsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güneş FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ataol Cerit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varol Atabek having to interfere. Ataol Cerit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Doğan Bayram got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencalp Özalpman in the 40th minute of play forced Kulilk's goalkeeper Acar Koçarslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acar Koçarslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boğaç Şemsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Acar Koçarslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boğaç Şemsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Güneş FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kulilk's Acar Koçarslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kulilk from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Hürkan Soner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gencalp Özalpman's late challenge caught a Kulilk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gencalp Özalpman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Güneş FK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gencalp Özalpman hit a great ball. Boğaç Şemsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acar Koçarslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Boğaç Şemsi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Acar Koçarslan. Boğaç Şemsi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 78 minutes, Boğaç Şemsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güneş FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boğaç Şemsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ataol Cerit kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Boğaç Şemsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acar Koçarslan having to interfere. A collision led to Kulilk getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lütfi Belek hit a great ball. Gencalp Özalpman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Acar Koçarslan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güneş FK. Hürkan Soner got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Kulilk's Hürkan Soner got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to Güneş FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cevat Ağaverdi hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Gencalp Özalpman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acar Koçarslan. Kulilk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gencalp Özalpman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Kulilk's zone, Gencalp Özalpman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acar Koçarslan came out of the goal and Gencalp Özalpman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Kulilk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Güneş FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
