Boğaç Şemsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Boğaç Şemsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güneş FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boğaç Şemsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boğaç Şemsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varol Atabek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazanfer Kumanbay in the 20th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gencalp Özalpman sped through DUZ SPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kutlu Özdoğru. In the 31st minute, Boğaç Şemsi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Varol Atabek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semavi Cengel went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gencalp Özalpman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Kutlu Özdoğru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gazanfer Kumanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boğaç Şemsi was the one to do the kick off. Boğaç Şemsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlu Özdoğru having to interfere. Kutlu Özdoğru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boğaç Şemsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Gencalp Özalpman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Boğaç Şemsi put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kutlu Özdoğru. After a defensive mix-up in DUZ SPOR's zone, Boğaç Şemsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutlu Özdoğru came out of the goal and Boğaç Şemsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boğaç Şemsi in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutlu Özdoğru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute Boğaç Şemsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutlu Özdoğru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Hızır Vezir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Varol Atabek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gencalp Özalpman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kutlu Özdoğru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Güneş FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
