KARTAL JK's Aydın Yüksel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, İlmi Süreyya notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KARTAL JK's Cemal Köker. Cemal Köker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cengiz Okbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Akhan having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Baturhan Akhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fenerbahçe SK's Baturhan Akhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe SK from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, KARTAL JK's goal looked a bit too open when İlmi Süreyya came free, but Cemal Köker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cengiz Okbaş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, KARTAL JK's Olcay Orkun Ergün made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baturhan Akhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of KARTAL JK booed when Fenerbahçe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beyhan Pekin hit a great ball. Birdal Tan, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Olcay Orkun Ergün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturhan Akhan having to interfere. KARTAL JK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
