After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Doğa Türker managed to get in a good position for a shot. AnkaraGücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğa Türker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serter Adıbelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Göynük booed when AnkaraGücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. İdris Eskioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürol Savlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Çelebi Nasip having to interfere. Göynük's Gürol Savlet got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Göynük booed when AnkaraGücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Mukbil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Türkeş Rasih sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AnkaraGücü's Arif Çelebi Nasip didn't even have to move. Ayberk Keyfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Çelebi Nasip having to interfere. After some careless play in the AnkaraGücü defense, Gürol Savlet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Çelebi Nasip. The AnkaraGücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Çelebi Nasip should have stopped the shot. Ayberk Keyfer might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Çelebi Nasip. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ayberk Keyfer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ayberk Keyfer came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Göynük fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayberk Keyfer couldn't finish the play. Gürol Savlet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayberk Keyfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arif Çelebi Nasip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, AnkaraGücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mücahit Şirvan to maneuver through the defense. AnkaraGücü's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
