In the 15th minute, Derya Onurad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Akrepsporu's Kutluay Özbek didn't even have to move. After having played for 17 minutes, Alişan Ongunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeytinburnu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alişan Ongunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Zeytinburnu JK booed when Akrepsporu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilge Ozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Vefik Baturalp in the 20th minute of play forced Akrepsporu's goalkeeper Kutluay Özbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Bilge Ozan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akrepsporu and the Zeytinburnu JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Akrepsporu getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bilge Ozan hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Zeytinburnu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derya Onurad to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Zülfikar Sadir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürkan Yenal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hidayet Ülgenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hidayet Ülgenalp came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Akrepsporu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayet Ülgenalp couldn't finish the play. Şeray Yaruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akrepsporu's Şeray Yaruk got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Tolga Saykut during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Zeytinburnu JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Tolga Saykut. After 44 played minutes, Akrepsporu's Zülfikar Sadir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gürkan Yenal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akrepsporu reached it. After 47 played minutes Akrepsporu got a freekick which was hit by Bilge Ozan.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Vefik Baturalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Kutluay Özbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Vefik Baturalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Ahmet Vefik Baturalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zeytinburnu JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Alişan Ongunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutluay Özbek having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Akrepsporu's goal looked a bit too open when Alişan Ongunalp came free, but Kutluay Özbek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kutluay Özbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Vefik Baturalp in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Ahmet Vefik Baturalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutluay Özbek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akrepsporu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
