Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Şeray Yaruk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sandikli's Yahya Kemal Yayalp got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandikli's Lütfi Buğra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayet Ülgenalp in the 11th minute of play. Kutluay Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Yayalp in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sandikli's Muharrem Cansal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kutluay Özbek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yahya Kemal Yayalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kutluay Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Cansal in the 33rd minute of play. Muharrem Cansals short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Kutluay Özbek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yahya Kemal Yayalp in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutluay Özbek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akrepsporu's Kutluay Özbek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Akrepsporu from getting a goal against them. Yahya Kemal Yayalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutluay Özbek having to interfere. Kutluay Özbek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yahya Kemal Yayalp's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Sandikli's Birsel Sungur got a free kick in the 45th minute. Zülfikar Sadir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lütfi Buğra. Sandikli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Yahya Kemal Yayalp made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Akrepsporu's zone, Yahya Kemal Yayalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutluay Özbek came out of the goal and Yahya Kemal Yayalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Şeray Yaruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akrepsporu's goalkeeper Kutluay Özbek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Akrepsporu getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bilge Ozan hit a great ball. Kutluay Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Yayalp in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Sandikli's Yahya Kemal Yayalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kutluay Özbek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Şeray Yaruk came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Akrepsporu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şeray Yaruk couldn't finish the play. If Yahya Kemal Yayalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandikli walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
