After a defensive mix-up in kayaköy SK's zone, İslam Kuthan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezen Kocaker came out of the goal and İslam Kuthan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aslanlar's İstemihan Nesip got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of kayaköy SK booed when Aslanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Kongur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezen Kocaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İslam Kuthan in the 18th minute of play. İslam Kuthan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezen Kocaker having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Aslanlar got a freekick which was hit by Furkan Ümit. After 28 minutes, İslam Kuthan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aslanlar and the kayaköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Cüneyd Mertol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilgaz Uraltay was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute İslam Kuthan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezen Kocaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, kayaköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Sezen Kocaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, kayaköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Sezen Kocaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aslanlar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by İslam Kuthan in the 54th minute of play forced kayaköy SK's goalkeeper Sezen Kocaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sezen Kocaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İslam Kuthan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aslanlar's Ilgaz Uraltay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrezzak Kantürk in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, kayaköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Sezen Kocaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Abdurrezzak Kantürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Aslanlar's Sufi Kongur got a free kick in the 65th minute. If İstemihan Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, kayaköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Sezen Kocaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by İstemihan Nesip got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. İstemihan Nesip was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When İstemihan Nesip came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Aslanlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İstemihan Nesip couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Aslanlar were awarded a corner. Yusuf Bahadır Tanır went to the cornerflag to take it. İslam Kuthan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. İstemihan Nesip blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezen Kocaker having to make a save. İslam Kuthan might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sezen Kocaker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İslam Kuthan ran back to his position shaking his head. İslam Kuthan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezen Kocaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Abdurrezzak Kantürk notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aslanlar's Ilgaz Uraltay. Ilgaz Uraltay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Aslanlar's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aslanlar may have spent more time on the ball, but kayaköy SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
