A collision led to Samrik F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mehmet Kumukbay hit a great ball. Hıdır Kuntay, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Akil Urkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nihat Umural, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Akil Urkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afyonkarahisar JK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybar Gündüz in the 44th minute of play forced Samrik F.C's goalkeeper Akil Urkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Samrik F.C had won after a very even match.
