Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cüneyd Mertol started the match with the kick off. Hatemi Bayülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Refik in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Kurtuluş Erzan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumaova SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurtuluş Erzan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cumaova SK booed when kayaköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen İslam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurtuluş Erzan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 18th minute, Yağızalp Sirri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdurrezzak Kantürk struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Hatemi Bayülgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for kayaköy SK. Hatemi Bayülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Refik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurtuluş Erzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sezen Kocaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erkan Zirve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Cumaova SK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdurrezzak Kantürk came free, but Hatemi Bayülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Erkan Zirve made the kick off in the second half. Mahmut Saykut kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Cumaova SK got a freekick which was hit by Taha Balatürk. In the 64th minute of the match, Abdurrezzak Kantürk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hatemi Bayülgen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 67th minute Erkan Zirve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezen Kocaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cumaova SK's Bilge Kağan Kaya got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sezen Kocaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Zirve, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Cumaova SK's goalkeeper Hatemi Bayülgen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdurrezzak Kantürk. Abdurrezzak Kantürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hatemi Bayülgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yahya İzgü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdurrezzak Kantürk got free with Hatemi Bayülgen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes Cumaova SK got a freekick which was hit by Kurtuluş Erzan. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. kayaköy SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
