After having played for 7 minutes, Eralp Yenay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorgun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eralp Yenay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akil Usare hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Şamil Toycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Eralp Yenay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but kayaköy SK's Sezen Kocaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdurrezzak Kantürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The kayaköy SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorgun were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eralp Yenay was the one to do the kick off. Sezen Kocaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eralp Yenay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yahya İzgü charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yahya İzgü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Şamil Toycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Özkan Erek walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Şamil Toycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Akil Usare fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorgun's protests and gave Akil Usare a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Akil Usare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of kayaköy SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sorgun:s goal. Bora Han Bilgin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Şamil Toycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, kayaköy SK's Ali Nejat Refik got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Cüneyd Mertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Sorgun got a freekick which was hit by Ramiz Kutlar. After a defensive mix-up in kayaköy SK's zone, Şamil Toycan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezen Kocaker came out of the goal and Şamil Toycan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Eralp Yenay took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sezen Kocaker to make any attempt to save it. Sezen Kocaker made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Şamil Toycan sent off a good shot on target. Şamil Toycan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sezen Kocaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorgun. Aras Görkem Akdurmuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyd Mertol in the 98th minute of play. Sorgun played a much better game than kayaköy SK and deserved their victory. The kayaköy SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
