In the 19thth minute of the game Özalp Ahmetoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karacalarspor's Salih Renan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Özalp Ahmetoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarakli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özalp Ahmetoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Nazmi Bozkurt made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Karacalarspor's zone, Özalp Ahmetoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salih Renan came out of the goal and Özalp Ahmetoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Vural Ekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarakli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Orhan Özender made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Zahit in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Özalp Ahmetoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salih Renan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
