Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) salih's Ahmet Korkut Namık started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 13 minutes, Ahmet Ziya Öktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İZMİR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ziya Öktürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to salih getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Berat Yenal hit a great ball. Adnan Hikmettin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erdinç Özbek. salih's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, salih's Erdinç Özbek got control of the ball when Ahmet Ziya Öktürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ahmet Ziya Öktürk came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the İZMİR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ziya Öktürk couldn't finish the play. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, İZMİR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ziya Öktürk to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, İZMİR's Garip Toralp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Garip Toralp made the kick off in the second half. Erdinç Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Toralp in the 54th minute of play. Garip Toralp scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdinç Özbek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garip Toralp in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdinç Özbek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 77 minutes, Rıfat Dursunali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. salih's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfat Dursunali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rıfat Dursunali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erdinç Özbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Toralp in the 85th minute of play. Erdinç Özbek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garip Toralp went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The İZMİR fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when İZMİR's Garip Toralp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. salih's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
