The Nusaybin fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Nusaybin's Cem Usun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cem Usun scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercan Gaza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cem Usun struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ercan Gaza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nusaybin. In the 19th minute Sabahattin Uyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercan Gaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nusaybin's Sabahattin Uyar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Mehmet Arif Babürşah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fetih Değer made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Hanak JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahap Volkan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hanak JK's Ercan Gaza got control of the ball when Sabahattin Uyar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cem Usun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ercan Gaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanak JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdulkadir Yalazay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nusaybin's Abdulkadir Yalazay to fire away a dangerous shot which Ercan Gaza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
