Bahçelievler FK's Fahri Togay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bahçelievler FK from getting a goal against them. Fahri Togay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Ensar Adak in the 18th minute. Giray Nazmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Ahmet Oğuz Nazmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahri Togay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sermet Delioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erim Yalgın was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Sermet Delioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Bahçelievler FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sermet Delioğlu couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Bahçelievler FK's Fahri Togay got control of the ball when Arif Ensar Adak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Oğuz Nazmi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fahri Togay came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Oğuz Nazmi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mustafa Cumhur Oksu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Derbent's Arif Ensar Adak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fahri Togay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fahri Togay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Tokuztuğ in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Yavuz Bülent Soytekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derbent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Bülent Soytekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahçelievler FK's Fahri Togay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ensar Adak in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bahçelievler FK's zone, Arif Ensar Adak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fahri Togay came out of the goal and Arif Ensar Adak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Sermet Delioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Erim Yalgın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bahçelievler FK's Göktuğ Başer was substituted for Sermet Delioğlu. After a defensive mix-up in Derbent's zone, Göktuğ Başer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erim Yalgın came out of the goal and Göktuğ Başer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beşir Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erim Yalgın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Erim Yalgın managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Bahçelievler FK's Göktuğ Başer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Many of Bahçelievler FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bahçelievler FK may have spent more time on the ball, but Derbent were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
