A collision led to Diyarbakir SK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Volkan Soysal hit a great ball. Oğuzer Dilhun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Haşim Taif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, AYYILDIZ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Behlül Çokay came free, but Tuncay Erçetin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AYYILDIZ SK's Tuncay Erçetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Yaşar Dizdar in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, AYYILDIZ SK's Mehmet Alp seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mehmet Alp the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AYYILDIZ SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mehmet Alp had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, one of AYYILDIZ SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AYYILDIZ SK. Atak Sarp charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atak Sarp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the match, AYYILDIZ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Yaşar Dizdar came free, but Tuncay Erçetin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AYYILDIZ SK booed when Diyarbakir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aras Oylum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oğuzer Dilhun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Haşim Taif having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Oğuzer Dilhun managed to get in a good position for a shot. AYYILDIZ SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuzer Dilhun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Haşim Taif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AYYILDIZ SK booed when Diyarbakir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Saygın Erüstün didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerim Maruf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Haşim Taif having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Kerim Maruf hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Diyarbakir SK's Aras Oylum was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Volkan Soysal got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Volkan Soysal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Aras Oylum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tuncay Erçetin made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Yaşar Dizdar got free with Tuncay Erçetin in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kerim Maruf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Haşim Taif having to interfere. Kerim Maruf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuncay Erçetin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behlül Çokay in the 76th minute of the match. Tuncay Erçetin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mustafa Yaşar Dizdar sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the game, Diyarbakir SK's Behlül Çokay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuncay Erçetin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 85 minutes into the game, Behlül Çokay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tuncay Erçetin. Behlül Çokay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aras Oylum got free with Tuncay Erçetin in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Behlül Çokay scored 0-5 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tuncay Erçetin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AYYILDIZ SK's Kerim Maruf got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The AYYILDIZ SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diyarbakir SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Diyarbakir SK.
